Ameya Prabhu is the Managing Director of Aarna Holdings, the Founder and CEO of NAFA Capital & a Partner in UAP Advisors LLP. Ameya has been designated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He is also a writer and the author of “The Rock Babas and other stories”, a book of short stories published by Amazon and sold in over 40 countries globally. Ameya is also the Co-Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), International. CII is the largest industry body in India. He has formerly served as the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce for the year 2023-24.

Ameya is the Managing of Aarna Holdings, an investment holding with interests in Rydberg Roche (asset management) NAFA Capital (asset management), Rare Mines (resource distributiin) and Green Day Motors (automobile distribution).

NAFA Capital is an asset management firm headquartered in Mumbai, India and manages funds in public equities, private equity, venture capital, debt capital markets that invest in the Indian market. NAFA IFSC also invests in global markets.

UAP’s businesses include asset management, principal investing, investment banking, chemicals and sustainable agriculture investments through New Age Financial Advisors, UAP’s joint venture with IFFCO, which is the world’s largest farmer’s co-operative organisation.

The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) established in 1925 and headquartered in Kolkata, India, is the oldest chamber of commerce and industry in India. During his Presidency, Ameya was instrumental in taking the chamber global by opening 27 offices in 30 countries.

Ameya is a BSc. in Economics, Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick, MSc. in Financial Management from IE Business School, Madrid and has been Awarded a certificate of completion for the Global Leadership and Public Policy ,21st Century Program in April 2022, John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Executive Education.

Ameya is a trustee of Manav Sandhan Vikas Sanstha, an NGO focused on skill training and skill development in rural and semi urban India with an emphasis on job creation for women and the under privileged classes. He is also the Vice Chairman of Konkan Krida Prabodhini, promoting sports in the rural Konkan region of Maharashtra. Ameya is a member of the advisory board of Climate Group India. He was formerly the Chairperson of the Young Leaders Forum of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was the Brand Ambassador for start-ups in the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as a board member of Miracle Feet India, an NGO focused on elimination of club foot in India.
