Sanjay Kadaveru is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of international experience spanning investments, entrepreneurship, business development, and management consulting. Currently, Sanjay serves as a Director at the SUN Group, a diversified global conglomerate promoted by the 4th generation Khemka family. With a footprint across the US, Africa, India, and Europe, the Group drives substantial investments in sustainable and deep tech sectors, leveraging a network of 250+ family offices worldwide. One of the key initiatives spearheaded by the Khemkas is GRAIL (Green AI Learning network), which aims to harness cutting-edge AI and AGI technologies to accelerate and scale climate change solutions.Prior to his role at SUN Group, Sanjay founded Action For India (AFI) in 2012, an initiative to help social entrepreneurs in India overcome barriers to scale and achieve greater impact at the Bottom of the Pyramid. AFI connects social innovators with impact investors, mentors, technology resources, government contacts, and local partners. With headquarters in New Delhi and chapters in Silicon Valley and London, AFI has expanded its reach through initiatives like AISEA, an AFI-promoted social entrepreneurship accelerator at IIT Hyderabad, and 3iPartners, an AFI-affiliated impact investment fund. Sanjay continues to serve as the Chairman of the Board at AFI.Sanjay's experience also includes managing investments at The Seven Hills Group, a US-based family office, where he supported the deployment of $50M in capital across various sectors. He co-founded the Center for Healthcare Innovation, a US-based non-profit focused on life sciences, and has been actively involved with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), serving as a Charter Member, Co-Chair for TiECon East, and Vice-Lead for the Social Entrepreneurship SIG at TiE Global.Earlier in his career, Sanjay co-founded the AP Technology Leadership Council, providing pro-bono business consulting services to civic and governmental causes in the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh.Sanjay is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
