She brings deep expertise in capital markets, fund formation, late-stage growth and exit strategies with a career spanning three decades across banking, law and technology – the last two based in Munich, Germany. At Helena Capital, Sarah is hyper-focused on funding the global missing middle between early stage VC and PE, especially for hybrid software+hardware solutions that modernize legacy industries: aerospace, automotive, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, space and defense. She leads Helena Capital‘s scale-up growth and exit teams, driving transatlantic scale and strategic public-private partnerships to ensure management teams bridge the valley of death. She is dedicated to future-proofing global supply chains and speeding up decarbonization efforts through applied AI, bio-diverse materials, quantum and hydrogen technologies. Sarah is equally passionate about funding female founders to scale their businesses across the Atlantic to achieve their strategic goals and supports the Mensarius Oath for ethical investing.
