Thymios Papadopoulos is a Director and Head of Strategy at Olympia Group. In this role, Thymios oversees the group's investment strategy, identifying opportunities for new investments, partnerships, and collaborations. Thymios is also responsible for defining and overseeing value creation and transformation initiatives across the portfolio companies.Prior to joining Olympia Group, Thymios held various investment and strategy roles in the US, UK, and Greece. Most recently, at Eurobank, he oversaw the group's annual strategic planning and was responsible for the bank's transformation program for Corporate and Investment Banking. Before that, he served as an investment professional at Saranac Partners, a boutique private asset management firm in London. Thymios began his career as a management consultant with Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) in Palo Alto, California.Thymios holds a diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), as well as an MSc and a PhD in engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
